Our Mission

The OC Policy Association aims to educate and shape the next generation of Policy debaters and increase opportunities for students from all communities to become involved in forensics, through online classes, lectures, and tournament opportunities to make debate accessible to all.

Why Policy?

Debaters don't just argue: they learn to think critically, articulate ideas, and handle multiple perspectives.

Multiple studies have found that policy debaters score higher on ELA, standardized tests, and school in general. Policy debaters also have a much higher percentage of applying to or getting recruited to top universities across the country.
